TPSquared skydiving team assemble! 🪂

It took a while for us to commit! But, Carolyn Smith, Claire Ash and Louise Taylor have all signed up for The Haven’s 50th Birthday challenge. Eeek!

We can’t say we are exactly looking forward to it. However, we are happy to be supporting a charity close to our hearts and doing something outside of our comfort zone as a team.

This year see’s The Haven Wolverhampton celebrating 50 years of delivering vital support to women and their children vulnerable to domestic abuse and homelessness. TPSquared are joining a team of 50 skydivers. Each skydiver representing a year of The Haven’s vital lifeline, since 1973!

We want to help raise the vital funds to ensure their services can continue for many years to come. Ensuring their helpline can continue to ring and be there for women in their darkest hour. Through to ensuring the doors of their communal refuges and dispersed safe houses can stay open as a place of safety for a woman and her children to stay.

Here is our ‘why?’…

Lou “I’ve always wanted to do a Skydive as I’ve heard it’s an exhilarating experience. I’m a bit of an adrenaline junkie who loves fast rides, the opportunity to do a skydive for Haven Wolverhampton’s 50th birthday is the perfect excuse. It’s not only a chance to fulfill my personal thrill-seeking desires but also an opportunity to support a great cause. By raising money for this organisation, I can contribute to the efforts of providing a safe and supportive environment for those who need it the most.”

Clash “As someone who tends to avoid anything remotely daring, the idea of jumping out of a plane is not something I would typically consider – and to be honest I still can’t believe I have accepted the challenge. While the thought of jumping out of a plane is daunting, it pales in comparison to the ongoing fear that many women and children experience. Through this challenge, I hope to honour their bravery and resilience, and contribute to the vital work being done by The Haven Wolverhampton to support those in need.”

Caz “I have been told that skydiving will be an exhilarating experience that I am likely to remember for the rest of my life! This experience is pushing me right out of my comfort zone, and I am truly terrified to be taking part in the Jump 50 challenge. However, it is a great way to support a cause I care deeply about, to raise funds and awareness for an incredibly important organisation, which make a real difference to the lives of the women and children they support.”

So, will you help make this possible and show your support by making a donation to our page?
