Enhancing Customer Referrals and Brand Image for Fierce Hairdressing

Introduction

Fierce Hairdressing, an award-winning hair salon located in the heart of Wombourne, sought to expand its customer base and reinforce its brand image as a go-to luxury hair salon. To achieve these objectives, Fierce Hairdressing collaborated with TPSquared to create a range of promotional materials, including recommend a friend cards, price lists, promo flyers and gift bags.

Objectives

  1. Increase customer referrals: Fierce Hairdressing aimed to leverage the power of customer referrals by creating eye-catching and high-quality recommend a friend cards. These cards would encourage satisfied customers to recommend the salon to their friends, thereby expanding their customer base.
  2. Reinforce brand image: Fierce Hairdressing wanted to establish a strong brand identity, creating an engaging and memorable experience for customers that would leave a lasting impression and encourage brand loyalty.
  3. Communicate sustainability goals: As a proud member of the Green Salon Collective, a certified B Corporation, Fierce Hairdressing are dedicated to recycling and reusing salon waste. It was important that this goal was at the forefront when considering printed marketing materials.

Execution

  1. Recommend a friend cards and price lists: Fierce Hairdressing collaborated us to design and produce recommend a friend cards and price lists. The cards feature their bold and vibrant branding, reflecting the salon’s energetic and trendy atmosphere. They incorporated a compelling offer, incentivising customers to refer their friends. The price lists were easy to read and displayed the various services offered.
  2. Gift bags: Fierce Hairdressing recognised the importance of creating a memorable customer experience. To enhance this, we produced customised gift bags that showcased the salon’s logo and tagline. These reusable gift bags also act as a walking advertisement for the salon.
  3. Sustainability: All printed materials were produced on eco-friendly paper stock sourced from FSC certified forests and inks and laminates that conform to latest environmental standards, further aligning with the salon’s commitment to sustainability.

Results

  1. Increased customer referrals: The introduction of recommend a friend card proved to be a successful strategy in boosting customer referrals. As a result, Fierce Hairdressing experienced a significant increase in new customers who were referred by existing clients.
  2. Enhanced brand image: The high-quality and visually appealing promotional materials, including price lists and gift bags, contributed to the salon’s brand image. Customers appreciated the attention to detail and the unique elements that set Fierce Hairdressing apart from other salons. This helped build a stronger sense of brand loyalty among existing customers and attracted new clients.
